Thriving on love
Joshua was orphaned shortly after he was born, adopted by a young couple that
had lost their own newborn, became ill, and came to us for care at the start of
this year. As you can see, he’s thriving. He’s now sitting and has four teeth!
We’re happy to see Joshua, his mom and grandma at our church meetings.

Allan was suffering from right sided weakness due to his illness.
At one point we thought he wasn’t going to make it.
He’s now up and running, gaining weight, and enjoying lunch at the clinic!

Josephine started work at the clinic the end of March and is a great help.
She completed her two year training as a Community Health Worker last May.
This is her first job so lots to learn.:-)

Speck left the clinic at the end of December 2008 after eleven years of faithful service.
We farewelled him with a traditional mumu (pig and vegetables cooked in a pit) as well
as the large cake.:-) He’s travelled to his home village several times this year.
