Joshua was orphaned shortly after he was born, adopted by a young couple that 

had lost their own newborn, became ill, and came to us for care at the start of

this year.  As you can see, he's thriving.  He's now sitting and has four teeth!  ...</description>

Allan was suffering from right sided weakness due to his illness.  
At one point we thought he wasn't going to make it. 
He's now up and running, gaining weight, and enjoying lunch at the clinic! </description>

  End of an era 
Speck left the clinic at the end of December 2008 after eleven years of faithful service.
We farewelled him with a traditional mumu (pig and vegetables cooked in a pit) as well

as the large cake.:-)  He's travelled to his home village several times this year.
